Terms of service

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your access to and use of Beelooo, including our website at beelooo.com and our app at app.beelooo.com. By creating an account or using Beelooo in any way, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are creating an account on behalf of a business, you are confirming that you have the authority to agree to these terms for that business, and "you" in this document refers to that business as well as to you personally.

If you do not agree with these terms, the appropriate step is not to create an account or to stop using Beelooo, rather than to use it while disputing the terms that govern that use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use Beelooo. Beelooo is intended for use by registered and unregistered businesses and their staff, not for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Description of the service

Beelooo is business management software that helps small businesses manage invoicing and quotes, inventory, customers, expenses, and reporting, along with Beelooo AI, our assistant feature that answers questions about your business data. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product develops, and we will let you know about changes that meaningfully affect how you use Beelooo.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account, whether performed by you or by someone you have given access to, such as a staff member. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately so we can help secure it. You are responsible for keeping your account information, including your business and contact details, accurate and up to date.

5. Plans and billing

Beelooo is billed in advance, either monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose. Prices for each plan are listed on our pricing page and are shown in Nigerian naira. We may change our prices from time to time. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice before the change applies to your account, and any change will not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

Payments are processed through a third party payment provider. If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and give you an opportunity to update your payment method before any interruption to your access. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the policy described on the pricing page under frequently asked questions, which currently allows a full refund if you contact us within 7 days of a paid plan starting.

7. Your data and content

The invoices, inventory records, customer information, and expense entries you enter into Beelooo belong to you. We do not claim ownership over your business data, and we only use it to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy. If you cancel your account, you can request an export of your data before it is deleted from our systems.

8. Acceptable use

When using Beelooo, you agree not to do any of the following.

• Use Beelooo for anything illegal, fraudulent, or for a business you are not lawfully permitted to operate.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer any part of the app or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data.
• Share your account login with a business other than your own, or resell access to Beelooo without our written agreement.
• Use Beelooo to send spam, harass, or defraud your own customers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe violates this section, generally after attempting to contact you first, except where immediate action is necessary to protect Beelooo or other users.

9. Intellectual property

Beelooo, including its software, design, logo, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These terms give you a limited right to use Beelooo for your own business, not any ownership over the software itself. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on Beelooo outside of what is necessary for your own normal use of the app.

10. Third party services

Beelooo may connect to or rely on third party services, such as payment processors and messaging providers used for WhatsApp sharing. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third party services outside our control, though we choose providers we consider reliable and will work to address issues that affect you.

11. Disclaimers

Beelooo is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep it reliable and accurate, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of every possible bug. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of financial and business records you rely on for tax, regulatory, or other legal purposes, rather than treating Beelooo's output as a substitute for professional accounting or legal advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Beelooo and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, such as lost profits or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability for something that cannot legally be limited, such as fraud or gross negligence.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Beelooo harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party right in the course of using Beelooo.

14. Termination

You may stop using Beelooo and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms and do not correct the breach after we notify you, or immediately in cases of fraud, illegal activity, or serious harm to Beelooo or other users. On termination, the sections of these terms that by their nature should survive, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, continue to apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, we would rather resolve it directly and informally wherever possible, so we encourage you to contact us first before pursuing any formal process.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as Beelooo grows or as circumstances require. We will let you know about significant changes, either by email or through a notice on the app, before they take effect. Continued use of Beelooo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
